Beautiful views from the hotel. Spacious, clean, and bright hotel with a nice deck.- Good food at dinner and breakfast
Window a/c units on the deck made it too loud to enjoy the view. Bus tour guests had priority for tables with a view in the morning.

The Lodge has an excellent location for travelers completing the Cabot Trail. Renovated rooms were clean and quiet and the view is excellent. Great for more mature travelers but probably not so good for young children. We found the area relaxing and the fee competitive for the services offered.
Breakfast buffet needs to include more whole grain options.

We had a wonderful stay at Silver Dart Lodge for 4 nights while exploring the Cabot trail. The view from our room's private deck was absolutely stunning, overlooking the beautiful lake. The room was impeccably clean and the facilities were roomy and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant served excellent food and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the property, especially the quiet nights. The hiking trails on the property were a bonus, allowing us to explore the stunning surroundings. a great stay with gorgeous views, comfortable accommodations, and friendly service.
Would recommend this hotel.

Great suggestions for things to do nearby. Meals in the restaurant surprisingly good. Amazing view from room and restaurant. Only issue was noise from upstairs, but staff handled it. Recommend second floor rooms.

We were so pleased with every aspect. We ate twice at the SD and enjoyed it both both times. Everyone was helpful and courteous. We would stay there again if back that way and recommend it highly.

Outstanding view of Bras d'Or lake, well-equipped room with comfortable beds, powerful shower, and great deck. Dedicated parking space right outside. Polite and helpful staff, facilitated early check-in. Minutes drive to center, 11 mins drive from Big Spruce Brewery. Perfect for last leg of Cape Breton journey!

Liked the view from every room, front & back door with porch and chairs facing lake. Most comfortable beds we slept in on week-long trip! Good directions to find the lodge. Great food at restaurant with musical entertainment! Nice table and chairs in room- electric outlet in light on table=great! Quiet even thought full.
Didn't know our cleaning gals would change each night so weren't prepared for leaving tips each night.

Beautiful location overlooking the water. We were traveling with our dog, and our accomodations in the Chalets were very pet friendly. Nice little kitchenette and large open areas with scenic views.
The bathroom could have used some updating, but was clean and more than adequate. Could have used some tables and chairs out on the lodge deck.
